Stay Franklin News

For all of those that want to keep their mother-in-laws out of the kitchen, we just want to suggest one of our cozy suites for that annual holiday visit. (She’ll have her own kitchen to dither in.) Seriously, we do have a lot of winter specials going on and it just takes asking our front desk attendant who can tell you all about them or visit our website by clicking here.
Let us help you have a wonderful holiday season!

Come join us on December 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for our First Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony to herald in the holiday season. Our celebration is to benefit Toys for Tots drive that is being collaborated with the United States Marine Corps Reserve and a needy family drive collaborated with the Salvation Army. All we ask is for a small donation of a toy, a non-perishable food item, an ornament or anornament for the tree. There will be complimentary hors d’oeuvres, holiday treats, eggnog, beer, wine, soda and lots of music. For the kids, we’ll have holiday crafts, ornament decorating, and a playroom for hanging out. We’ll also be showing “A Christmas Story” in our movie theater. It’s a community event meant to benefit those in need. Please bring the kids and celebrate the season by giving back. Please RSVP with number attending, including children, by calling 414.574.2652 or email mhansen@stayfranklin.com.

October was the month where guests could win big: Guess how much this big gourd weighed (in case you’re curious—98 lbs!) and the lucky winner won 20,000 Priority Reward points. We’re all about having fun, rewarding, and of course, going green! The pumpkin didn’t go to waste. It made pumpkin pie for November. Maybe that’s our next guessing contest: how many pies did it make?
Stop in and see.

Our employees love their jobs and a big part of it is because they go the extra mile (in Dale’s case, literally.) Just take a look at their accomplishments!

Dale Steingold has been awarded the Employee of the Quarter. Dale is our van driver, beer server, bellman, and an all-around “jack of all trades.” No job is too big or too small for Dale! Heck, he may even be our new GM some day! Outstanding job, Dale!

Jeanne Rainwater was recently awarded the very prestigious Guests’ Choice Award during our employee cookout. As the Evening Reception Cook and Hostess, Jeanne wins the hearts of all our guests. Keep smiling, Jeanne!

Lindsay Hart was our Priority Reward Club Member Sign Up winner because she signed up the most new members to the company rewards program (and she was even out for two weeks!) The secret to her success? “Offer FREE Stuff.” Great job, Lindsay!!

At Staybridge, we’re proud of the high standards we have set for the maintenance of our hotel. These standards are maintained with experienced personnel like Lisa Partipilo, our new Executive Housekeeper. Lisa joined us in September after finishing a 12-year stint with the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Pleasant Prairie, WI where she held the same position. She knows what it takes to maintain a clean, well-run facility. She has two children, Michael and Savannah, and they all love living in Oak Creek. Her favorite times are in the pool with her kids and playing horseshoes.

Our hotel is thrilled to welcome our new Sales Manager, Angie Dillett to the sales team, where she works side-by-side with our Director of Sales, Mark Hansen (literally?). Angie comes to us from Chicago and brings years of hotel experience along with her. She can assist with any corporate or social event arrangements and do them to perfection. Although her most recent experience diverged slightly from hotels, she added to her hospitality expertise by filling the position of Events Coordinator for the Fourth Presbyterian Church, which was no small task. Interestingly enough, Angie probably gained her organizational and social skills by growing up as the oldest of nine children. She enjoys listening to music and spending time with family and friends who love that she’s back in Wisconsin and especially Franklin!
